Welcome to Online Enrollment for the Maine School and Library Network.

This site is for participants in the MSLN project for funding year 2012 though 2013 (FY2012).

Online Enrollment may be completed by a Technology Coordiantor or other employee, but the final name and signature on printed documents must be the Superintendent of Schools for K-12 participants or the Library Director for library participants.

MSLN services are funded through both state and federal E-rate funds.

What is E-rate? [PDF]

The primary measure for determining the amount of E-rate funding for school and libraries is the percentage of students eligible for free and reduced lunches under the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).

In addition to online enrollment, non-library participants who DO NOT make use of the National School Lunch Program, such as Vocational and Technology Centers, are required to comeplete pre-enrollment to provide student eligibility numbers:

Federal E-rate funds require that schools and libraries meet requirements outlined in the Children’s Internet Protection Act (which participants affirm through FCC Form 479).
